With 30+ volunteers, Council backing and sponsors help we’ve put on another Christmas in the Park. We tried to count the people, but they kept moving around having a good time. We’re pretty confident that upwards of 2000 people came , eat sausages, sang Christmas carols, watched school choirs and enjoyed having their kids bounce, drive, flip and otherwise burn off excess energy in a bunch of free activities.
At the end of the event a tired but happy crew looked at the now empty fields with some astonishment. Did that really happen ? Yes it did and was awesome.
